DeVille were a delight to work with. In my final stages of wedding meltdown these guys made everything that little bit easier when regarding the entertainment. Though David and I had a more unconventional beginning and end to our wedding, DeVille seemed more than happy to go along with our 'ideas' and hopefully found them funny and maybe slightly original! From allowing a CD to play the first and second song (DeVille are amazing but maybe switching from Michael Buble to Take That within seconds was asking a bit much!) to singing the Hokey Cokey as our last song (with a hidden 'Shabba'!) these guys were professional, friendly, fun and tremendously entertaining. I wouldn't think twice about recommending them to friends, family and anyone else who would listen! Thanks again boys, you'll be seeing us again at the next excuse for a party! Dear Euan and Peter, Sorry for the delay in contacting you - we have just returned from honeymoon and are still trying to get in touch with everyone.What can we say? Derek and I just wanted to say a massive thank you for making our evening reception such a night to remember. Your music/singing was fantastic all night and the mixture of songs had everyone (including Derek's auntie who NEVER dances) boogying from start to finish. I have been to two weddings recently, firstly 11th Aug'07 in the Airth Castle, Angie and Liam Brownes. Then 25th Aug'07 in Glasgow University Union, Alan and Lisa Boyle. Both were terrific weddings and you created a great atmosphere. Everyone was up dancing right away. Myself and my husband had another engagment to go to on the 25th and were reluctant to leave the wedding as we were enjoying the music so much. My friends daughter Karen Haney is getting married on the 12th July'08 and I know she is trying to book you on my recomendation so I hope she is successful. When you goto a wedding ,your own or someone elses, you dont expect the band to be that great but DeVille were excellent and played to the crowd. They made it a fantastic night for everyone. They even played an encore of 500 miles after loch lomond as the groom and best man had missed it. Hi Euan & Peter,We really did want to provide a testimonial as DeVille were so instrumental in everyone enjoying themselves on our wedding reception. Because we had chosen a swing song for our first dance we really enjoyed the way you made that set the scene and a couple of other swing songs were played afterwards - this and the type of songs played there on highlighted how much thought you had put into into creating the music and atmosphere for the evening. There was never a song that was played that our guests were not up dancing to and even some guests who just do not dance.You are completely correct in saying that you don't realise that there are only 2 people in the band.And during the evening and for many weeks (and months now) we still get compliments on what such a great band you are ....So much so that our friends have been in touch with yourselves for bookings for events!
